Extra Bonus DC Trip Story

Believe it or not, I actually forgot to tell you this hysterical story from my getaway with the Queen. Even more unbelievable, she reminded me of it, saying that she was surprised that I left it out! I was on the floor after this conversation. You be the judge.

While looking at the gowns on display at the first lady exhibit, we read that one of Abigail Adams's (I think it was her) gowns or coats or something was lined with fleece.

Queen: Fleece? They didn't have fleece back then! Did they?

Me: Um, yeah, the real fleece. You know from sheep. ::snort:: cough, cough...hahahahaha! (trying to maintain my dignity)


Yeah, life is fun when you put two blondes on a trip together. There are more stories to come, I'm sure!
